Quick question on wiring

I'm wiring up some lights in my barn. The previous trusses were on 8 ft centers, we are putting new ones in at 4ft. That being said, I want to maintain clear space between the trusses - so no wires running from a leg of lights on one truss to the next. That being said, here is what I have planned. Will the switch controlling the junction box function just as if the lights were wired daisy chained? Legs 1 and 2 are just two lights, but are on different truss spans. Just wanting to double check before I get everything stapled up. Thanks

The diagram all looks correct to me.

What is the intended use of the barn? Different types of wiring and protection are required depending on intended use of the building. If there is livestock it changes the picture a lot.

Thanks guys. It's just essentially storage right now. Used to be an ag building with horses.
