How to power supply outdoor wifi security camera
Camera is outdoor and wifi ip camera ...so even though it does not need Ethernet cable supply...it needs power supply.
I have an exterior single gang outlet at this wall two feet below where the camera will be mounted....
From this exterior outlet I am going to fetch/fish a wire for outdoor security light...this light will be either just below where the camera will be mounted...
I also want to supply power through camera's power adapter (12V /1A) but this wall is exposed to rain....
I want camera's adapter and its wire hidden so its not exposed to rain ...also this 12v power adapter will not fit/hide inside the weatherproof cover I am going to put on this exterior outlet....

Why not plug the adapter into an inside receptacle and run thermostat wire* through the wall and to the camera?
*Thermostat wire is usually rated for running through or in a wall. A lot of low voltage wire isn't.
