lost power to one room

lost power to one room

I lost power to one room in house. I have checked breakers. I even took cover off to make sure there was power coming from all breakers. I tested some of the outlets with a meter. I have nothing from black to white or from black to ground. I replaced some of the outlets because they where back stabbed.

Welcome to the forums.

The problem is either at the last working receptacle or the first dead one.

You'll need to shut the circuit off, identify all the now dead devices, turn the power back on and determine the closest point between the working receptacles and the non working receptacles.

Did you replace the receptacles after losing power, trying to fix the problem?
Or do you think replacing the receptacles caused the problem?

Didn't they have screws? Receptacles rarely go bad except to become to loose to firmly hold a plug.
