adding 2nd light to 3 way switch

I'm going to add another light in a dark corner of my kitchen. The easiest way I can connect to power is at the existing light. It has a 3 way switch at each end of the kitchen. It would be okay for the new light to come on when either switch is turned on. Would I connect the black wire to the black or red at the light? Or do I need to run a 14/3 to the existing light? Thx.

The switches have no bearing on the additional light connection.
You would connect the new light the same exact way the old one is.

Look at the existing fixture wiring. There will be a black wire and white wire. Use those as your guide.
