Need to rotate dryer receptacle

Hi. I've got a Leviton 125/250v dryer outlet in my wall (picture below) and I want to rotate it 90 degrees so the bottom of the plug will go to the right. I've tried taking out the whole box from the wall, but I think it must be glued in, because I've removed all screws and it won't budge. Is there any type of bracket I can mount that can attach to the box as it is, and gives me a frame to screw in at 90 degrees? I've searched everywhere and can't find anything that can help me. Other suggestions for how I can rotate this outlet 90 degrees are appreciated.

Note: Sorry there are two images. The one with the screws on top is what I have.

You could abandon the current box with a blank cover and install another one above, below or beside the existing box, depending on which way the cable has slack. The new box could be installed "sideways" relative to the norm.

Receptacle

Turn the breaker off. Remove the screws holding the receptacle to the box. Pull the receptacle out of the box and look for screws inside the box which may be holding the box.

Box most likely nailed to stud before dry wall installed. Easier to but a old work box in and cover that one. Why not rotate the one you have 180 and have cord hang down.

Simple ansewer the walls going to have to be opened up to turn it.
Why does it even need to be turned?
