Wiring Issue

I have a 12v Temperature Controlled Switch. When it's hot the switch is on, when it's cold the switch is off. When the switch is on it turns on a solenoid. When the switch is off the solenoid is off. I want to be able to be able to turn the entire system on/off. Also, if the Temperature Controlled Switch fails, I want to be able to turn off the Temperature Controlled Switch and keep the Solenoid on. If possible, I want to do both things with one switch.

With out knowing what this controls your question can't be accurately answered.

Just put a single pole, double throw (SPDT) switch with a middle off position in parallel with your temperature switch.
