Harbor breeze ceiling fan - re-wiring new transmitter/Remote help
7 wires coming out of fan, 3 wires from ceiling. Remote also has only 3 wires entering/exiting.
How to wire this?

That receiver is model specific builtin remote control receiver. It looks like you have wrong remote and fan combination. Are you trying to replace transmitter with new one?
What side is that black part? Is that the motor housing?

It looks like you are trying to replace the original motor control/remote with a new universal style. That won't work. The original remote has the motor capacitors in it.

Yes the black part is the motor housing. I was thinking a universal remote wouldn't work. Can't find a remote on line that goes with the fan and Harbor Breeze doesn't care this remote any more. Any suggestions on making this work? Even if it turns the light and fan on at the same time? Thanks for both your support on this!
