Hi, I'm trying to find a good method to wire the light in my attic to come on when the attic ladder is pulled down and turn off when the pull-down door is closed. I found a few heavy-duty buttons, but was redirected to use a "magnetic door switch" (I think also called a Reed switch). I am having trouble finding one rated for 120v. I am trying to connect the 2 guage thhn wire to the neutral on my Siemens panel. The only lugs I see that you can add to the panel have the hole that faces the same way as the lug itself... so instead of being able to stick the wire straight in you would have to bend it like an L..unless you mount it at the end of the lug.
