I have a 2 story condo and spend a lot of the time here upstairs. the doorbell is on the 1st floor. Can I run 2 chimes off of that one doorbell transformer or what do i need to do..... I have only one doorbell switch and its on the front door...Thanks for your help in advance.....

Yes. All you need to do is run a pair of wires (18 or 20 gauge will do) between the existing chime and where you want the new chime. You'll just be wiring the new chime screws to the old chime screws. You may or may not need to upgrade the transformer. Give it a try and if your chimes work weakly, upgrade the transformer.

Alternatively, you could install a wireless doorbell.
