Ceiling Light Fixture Foil & Insulation
Hello,
When removing a bulb that needed changing, I noticed the foil backing was damaged and pulling away from the fixture. I removed it. I plan to replace the 2 60W incandescents with LEDs. Do I need to replace the foil? Is it a special type? Thanks.

If you don't have any insulation you could buy the smallest amount of duct insulation you can find. Example: 6 in. Dia R-6 Ductwork Insulation Sleeve-INSLV6 - The Home Depot
