Do I need to use AC, AC/DC or DC?

Hi. I have an outdoor fountain that is lighted. It currently uses G4 10 watt halogen bulbs. You plug it into the wall and there is a converter between the wall plug and the lights themselves. I want to switch the bulbs from halogen to led. I am looking on ebay for led bulbs that i could use. the led bulbs available for sale come in different voltage types- 12V DC, 12V AC/DC, and 220V AC. My question is which voltage type is right for me, the DC or the AC/DC? I know that the converter brings the 110V down to 12V. But I do not know if I then need an AC/DC bulb or a DC bulb. Can you help me to understand whether I need DC or AC/DC? Thanks.

Depending on the output designation on the wart. Does it say 12 v AC or 12v DC. Most likely you will need AC/DC bulbs.
