What is the correct direction for a ceiling fan to run in in the summer? Clockwise or Counter-clockwise?

It should rotate in the direction that blows air down.

This can also be stated as it should rotate such that the edge of the blade closest to the ceiling is the leading edge.

For most fans, this is counterclockwise when viewed from the floor, or clockwise when viewed from the ceiling.
