Smoke detector issues

I'm having some wiring issues in my home. In the back part of the home when you plug in something to an outlet or flip a light switch the smoke detector (which is hard wired) beeps. Can anyone tell me how to possibly diagnoss and repair this???

Welcome to the forums.

The hardwired smoke detector may be on the same circuit. Can you confirm that ?
Do you have multiple hard wired smokes and do they do they all sound ?

It is normal and by code that the smoke detectors be powered by a convenience circuit so that it is not easy to disable them. They are pretty well filtered and not usually bothered by anything on the same circuit.

You may have a loose connection at the receptacle that feeds the smoke alarms.
