Half-switched outlet problem

I have a half-switched recepticle, with the top outlet controlled by the switch, and the lower outlet always with power. After ten years of working properly, the top outlet is no longer controlled by the switch--it always has power. I changed the switch but that did not solve the problem. I checked and the bridge between the upper and lower wire connections was properly clipped. Any suggestions on how to diagnose & fix the problem?

Welcome to the forums.

The next step would be to pull the switch out of the wall and disconnect the wiring to only one terminal.

Once the wire is removed from the switch.... is the receptacle switched half still live ?
If yes..... there is a wiring or problem with the receptacle.
If no.... looks like a bad switch.
