Total GFCI bathroom or not ..I need advice

New construction: my bathroom will have 2 GFCI receptacles. It also has a vanity light, an over shower light ( not quite over the enclosure on a 10' ceiling) and a bath fan center of room. So is there a good reason to put everything in the bathroom on GFCI protection? Or not? I just want to do code or better and provide the most useful and safe electrical install. Thanks for your help.

Vanity light is best not GFCI protected so you"re not in the dark if the GFCI trips. Bath light within the footprint of the bathtub check the manufacturers instructions and local code.

The NEC does not call for gfi protection for lights above a tub or shower unless the installation instructions call for it. I have never seen any that did. Exhaust fan/lights are a different story.

Why would you use 2, GFI's in one bathroom?
One GFI would protect both outlets if wired correctly.
