Splitting outlet question
I am a missionary in Uganda. Everything here is 220. I want to split one plug for 110. How can I make a neutral?

Welcome to the forums.
Your power is 220v-240v to neutral. You cannot get 120v service from that.
What are you trying to operate ?

Splitting outlet question
I have a 110 submersible pump. That I use to fill our water tank. We are in solar power and I have a 110 inverter, but it uses a lot of power. I was hoping to use a generator that I bought here to pump. I have a splitter that came with my old generator that has 4 110 receptacles on one end and a 4 prong 220 plug on the other. Any suggestions?

Get a 220v pump or a transformer. Given the size transformer you might need to run a pump the correct voltage pump might be cheaper. A better long term solution is an inverter with 220v output so all equipment matches what is used locally.
