Room loses power but doesn't trip the breaker
So we recently gave our son a computer and now his room occasionally loses power but doesn't actually trip the breaker. If I go and turn the breaker for his room off and back on again, it'll come back up and then eventually he loses power again.
Any idea what is causing this? I wouldn't think a computer would be too much for a circuit to handle as I've had that same computer in another bedroom in the house with no issues.

What else is on the breaker? Do you have a space heater or laser printer?

You can't always tell if a breaker is tripped by looking. The forum mantra is turn the breaker all the way off then on to see if it is tripped.
It could be a bad breaker. You can either swap the breaker for a new one or you can swap the wire on the problem breaker with one on another breaker of the same size. If you no longer have a problem after moving the wire to another breaker then the breaker is bad.
