Is there a switch/relay to switch on/off power at programmable voltages?

I'm looking for some sort of relay or switch that cuts on at a lower voltage and then kicks off at a higher voltage? I would also like to be able to program the voltage cut in and cut out levels.

Where can I find something like this? If there isn't a programmable one, I could also take one that has what I am looking for that is preset.

Thank you.

Adam

What voltage ranges are you looking for and what sort of load do you want to switch?

These are fairly common for low voltage use, 12-24 VDC for auto and solar installations, to avoid battery deep discharge for example, but there are options for AC monitoring also.

I'm looking for something that will kick in at around 11-12v and kick out anywhere between 24-48v. The higher the better really but no more than 48v.

OK, here's one example:

You can find other similar items by searching for voltage controlled relay or voltage controlled switch.

You may have to add an external power relay depending on how much current you need to switch.

Thank you for the information! I've done some searching because that one is a bit out of my price range right now and I found this;

DC60S3 - CRYDOM - Solid State Relay, SPST-NO, 3 A, 60 VDC, Panel, Screw, DC Switch | Newark element14

Would something like this work to cut off voltage at 32 volts?

No, I'm afraid not. That is just a solid state relay for switching up to 60 volts DC. It will turn on when the control voltage is approximately 3 volts and off when the voltage is approximately zero volts.

What is the purpose of this relay?
You can easily build one using arduino and a relay.

Thank you for the responses. I am rigging something up that when the batteries are charged it cuts off power and when it's low enough I want power back on to send me a "warning signal" or indicator. How would I go about making something like this?

Thank you

Is this the arduino you are talking about?
