Minimum distance from pool to outlet???
My electrician just installed a GFCI outlet 66" from the water edge of our currently under-construction pool. The pool guy is telling me that the minimum distance is 6', while the electrician is telling me it's 5'. Who's correct?

It was previously 5 feet minimum from the pool and 10 feet max.
Now as far as i know it is 6 feet.

Is the outlet for powering the pool equipment (pump, etc) or for general use? Do you know which version of the NEC your locality follows?
