Wiring to a reversing switch.

Wondering if anybody can tell me if my 3hp motor can be wired to a reversing switch? I know the motor can be reversed. Here are the wiring diagrams on the motor housing.

Sure, you need a double pole-double throw switch.

L2 and T4 go to common 1
T8 goes to NC1
T5 goes to NO1

T1 goes to common 2
T5 goes to NC2
T8 goes to NO1

L1 always goes to P1

If you also want the switch to have an off position, you can use a DPDT switch with a center off position.

If you don't have a separate power switch then use a center off switch as the motor must come to a complete stop before reversing it.
