Ground rod need for shed?

I have a backyard shed fed from a 240-V underground feeder. The feeder is supplied from my main house panel through a 2-pole, 240-V, GFCI breaker.

The main house has a ground rod. Does the shed's branch panel need a ground rod of its own?

Yes it needs a ground rod and a ground wire from the supplying panel. The subpanel must have a bonded ground bar and an isolated neutral bar.

Why a GFCI breaker? When you wrote 240 feeder did you mean a 120/240 feeder, 4 wires?
