Outside junction box height snow/ground water

I want to install a utility junction box on a post in the ground outside. It will be a weather proof . Is there a minimum height to protect it from snow?
Also the ground gets soaked in the spring. Is the a minimum depth to bury the post below ground as well (treated wood)?

The electrical code does not address either issue.

Post needs to be set at least below the frost line.
I'd be using a 6 X 6 so I did not have to deal with the curling, twisting, checking often seen on a 4 X 4.
If it was mine I'd be installing the box about shoulder high.
