Attached garage wiring

iLife in MN and had an electrician put in a 60amp sub panel into my garage. I plan to do the outlets and lighting myself. I want to cut the current electrical that goes to the garage off from the house panel and place it all on the new panel. I want to add at least 10 110v outlets including the garage door opener in and at least 4 fluorescent light fixtures in. And one 220v for future use. Will I require a permit to do this or can I just start with my project? Thanks.

You will need to ask your local inspector within your county or township. @40 volt receptacles are determined by what is plugged in. You need to know the amps of the equipment to determine breaker size, wire size, and type of receptacle. You could install empty conduit with a pull string and an empty 4x4 junction box then install what you need when you know.

Tech info: Nominal voltages are 120v and 240 volts.
