3 Light Fixtures on one switch, possible to remove one and replace with fan?

I have a bonus room above the garage, it's probably in 25-30' length and 15' wide. There are 3 light fixtures in the ceiling of the room controlled by one switch at the door.

Is it possible to take the last fixture (farthest from switch) out and replace with a ceiling fan/light combo and keep it hot all of the time, so the ceiling fan/light combo operate independently of the switch?

Ideally, I'd like our guests that stay to be able to use a remote to control the fan and light on that side of the room.

Probably not possible unless the lights were wired with 3-conductor cable (black, red, white) which is unlikely or unless they are not daisy chained (one light feeding the next). You could install remotes at all three lights.

Ray is right and most likely you will need to run additional wires to the fan location to make it work like you want to.
