Hello, There is no electricity running through an indoor outlet, a light switch, a backyard light, and an outdoor outlet. They are all located in the same area near the Patio door. The light switch is for the backyard light. Eversince we moved to this house there has been no electricity running in this place of the house and I don't know why. I've opened up the switch panel and outlet panel and everything looks normal. I also checked the fuse box and all the switches are on. What else should I check and how can I find the main electrical wire that is supposed to carry the electricty to this place of the house? Thanks

Recently inherited a lake property....I would like to run electricity down to my beach/dock area. I know little about wiring, but have done some basics. It's a fair distance from nearest supply approx 600'-700'. I would like to go underground for aesthetic reasons and maintenance..lotsa trees and down-falls. It would have to pass through a low area that is prone to occasional standing water. Questions 1. What is the proper wire/cable? 2. How deep? 3. What do I need for boxes/terminals at either end? 4. Does it have to be enclosed? (conduit) 5. Do I need a Pro? Want this a simple as possible, but long term. Property is in NCentral Minn...Cold winters -40o Want to have hookup for RVs campers etc and security lighing
