No output while installaing used 3ph 250kva generator
I have above problem .
The engines starts and runs but no voltage output; when you press and hold something like a reset button it rises to about 117 V and frequency 43 hertz but 0 when released; the receptacles test with meter reads 0.
kindly assist.

Hi, what kind of generator,we need more info that what you provided,was it tested before you purchased it?

43hz; sounds like the engine is too slow and there is a lockout on the Gen output.
MIGHT be a motor governer issue.

Hi, I would agree with Telcom Guy,it sounds like a governor problem,many of the newer generators have automatic voltage regulators(AVR),any name plate information on it?
You never said if it was tested before the purchase,could it be contaminated fuel,dirty fuel filters?
