Cutting the wire of a speaker

Hello , i 'd like to cut the wire of a huge ass speaker , it has been hanged and forgotten at a pole and it plays music non stop . Is there any danger of getting electrocuted ? Should i wear rubber gloves while i cut it ?

How high is the pole? If not to high just unplug it. If only speaker than no problem cutting it. Make sure there are no light or anything else there. Where does the music come from and just shut off the speaker?

I'd be careful damaging private property.

Many towns play holiday music thru an outdoor sound system. I supply towns with these systems. If I get complaints I go and adjust the volume level of the problem speaker.

Log a complaint with whomever is responsible for the system.

Don't even attempt to fool with it. Do as Pete says and file a complaint. But do it very politely. You say non-stop? Even during the late and early morning hours? Seems excessive.
