Down under you guys follow the European system.
Here we have.......
Standard circuit breakers which come in many different sizes.
GFI (ground fault interrupting) breakers.
AFI (arc fault interrupting) breakers
or a combination of GFI and AFI

And lots of other "types" as well. In electrical substations there are oil-insulated power operated circuit breakers. Also SF6 (sulpher hexaflouride) insulated circuit breakers. In industrial plants there are power operated air circuit breakers.
Lots of "protective relaying" devices used in pilot duty to trip large circuit breakers under abnormal conditions.
Circuit breakers with "reclosers" used by utilities to re-close a circuit breaker that was automatically opened by a transient event.
Different types of power operators with electric or electric plus spring being the most common.
They can also be classified by trip action under magnetic, thermal and combination thermal-magnetic. Further into adjustable trip, fixed trip and various trip curves.
Even different designs for AC and DC currents.
