What size breaker?

I am installing a mini split and nowhere in the manual does it state what size breaker is required. It's an 18,000 unit and based on other research I have done this usually requires a 30A breaker. Here is the nameplate on the unit:

Thanks

Nameplate states max fuse or circuit breaker is 20 amp. You must follow the nameplate.

I would recommend using #12 especially if the run is 50' or better.

mini splits usually are 20A with exception of larger units.
Whole house AC or heat pump usually are 30A, some smaller ones are 20A as well.
