GFCI for outside lighting?

Was looking to see if a GFCI breaker is needed for outside lighting, i.e. wall mounted or on a post away from the building. All the references i could find said no but were very old. Is it now required?

GFCI protection is not required for lighting except for lights in pools and showers.

So if that is correct, that is the only circuit in a residential home that does not need CAFCI and/or GFCI protection. WOW!
