Best position for high amp breakers?

Just for giggles i was wondering about some peoples opinion on this. Where do you try to position high amperage breakers (e.i. 30-100amp 240v) on the main panels bus bars. Near the main breaker, opposite end, middle, spread out? Why?

Doesn't matter where you have it.

Coke or Pepsi?

Limitations I can think of off hand:
Some panels had warning about max amps on a stab when using tandems.
With old split-bus panels 240v loads would go on the top section as the lighting section might only be fed with 60amp.
PV breaker may need to be at opposite end of main.

My personal preference is at the top near the main breaker.
Keeps the large current draw off the entire bus.
