AC Adapter With DC Splitter?
I have two portable DVD players:
https://www.amazon.com//dp/B01GRKBUPU/
That can be powered using this AC adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072KQHW56
However I need to power both DVD players using one AC adapter.
If a single screen requires 12V and 1000MA, can I power two screens using a 12V 2A power supply and a splitter cable?
Any insight much appreciated, thanks.

The specs of the players should specify the needed current. I don't know if they have batteries in them. That adapter says charger. If it can run that unit without the batteries then you should be able to run two of them on a 12vdc 2A supply.

Thanks for the quick reply, the players do not have batteries and come with these 12V adapters:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071KFBM6Y
Or an optional dual 12V adapter:
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B071XFTHLB
The Amazon seller lists the AC adapter I linked to in my first post as the power supply for these screens. Would it be safer to use a 3A power supply?

You can never have too much amperage in a power supply.
In that application.... either should work ok.

Amazon seller advised screens are 1.5A each, will this power adapter work for two of them? See photos attached.
Switching Power Adapter
Input: 100-240V ~1.6A 50/60Hz
Output: 12V 5A

A little confusion on the current requirements. A would agree closer to the 1.5A each rating.
Yes.... that 5A supply should run both with no problems.

Agreed on the confusion, AC adapter sold by Amazon seller says the output is DC 12V 1000MA, but when I contacted them to ask about power requirements they advised 1.5A.
Regardless, thanks again for your help.
