Separating a group of wires to 2 groups

Hi all,
I have a 4 gang electrical light switch box with 8 romex wires connected. I haven't been able to find wire nuts that can group 8 wires together, and was wondering if I could do 2 groups of 4 wires, and then a joining wire in between. Would that be too much traffic for that joining wire? Concept diagram attached.

As long as all of the wires are part of the same circuit you can do what you propose.
