Afci gfci combo breaker

Hi,
From 50 amp 220 fed subpanel in basement, using all 20 amp afci gfci combo breakers to feed basement and also feeding uf 12 awg to shed outside one line. In shed powering some receptacles and plugged into outlet is a poe switch to feed 2 or more cameras on shed and battery charger.
If i plug into one receptacle a surge protector and then the poe switch into that will it cause any issues with breakerand or will it help with extra protection for switch etc? Need to either put in a simple receptacle strip or surge strip. I will mount on wall which frees up an outlet for intermittent use of extension cord or other needs. I also have a light with outlet an outside weatherproof receptacle and prepped for switched flood light in future

Thank you

Using a device plugged into a surge protector on a circuit protected by an AFCI/GFCI breaker will cause no problems. The surge protector is good for helping to protect the device from power surges and is a good thing to use.
