Slide switch problem

So at our congregation we have a Rainbird ESP 8si controller located in the basement. Looks similar to this: https://d3nevzfk7ii3be.cloudfront.ne...GNPE6.standard
The slide switch in the lower right is acting goofy. It's called the schedule control switch. I believe it's just a 4 position slide switch that slides left and right.

Basically it's not wanting to make contact when it is to the far right position. If you fiddle with it a lot it will finally make contact as long as you don't breathe on it or touch it.

Do you think a little electronic contact spray in the switch would do any good? I will unplug it and blow it out with air before plugging it back in.

Those slide switches are crap and corrode easily once the grease in them is gone.
They corrode even faster in a damp place like a basement.
Yes.... contact cleaner will clean it but it will become hard to slide.

Well, it didn't help. I will just have to get used to using the fixed programming (left half of that switch) I guess.
