Wiring question

I have two three way switches that control an outlet. As if back in the old days, you could turn off a table lamp from two different locations. My future plans are to put in a ceiling fan in our living room utilizing those two three way switches and leave the outlet where our TV in the living is plugged in hot all the time, would I need to run 14/2 or 14/3 to the ceiling fan to work with those three way switches

First we need to know where power comes in. Tell us about the connections and all wires at the two switches and receptacles. Pictures will help also. https://www.doityourself.com/forum/e...-pictures.html Note best done from a comp. May not work on some phones.

Pictures are always preferred but you would need a two wire cable w/ground.
