Outlet Connected to switch

In one area of my house, there is a switch that controls the lights, but an outlet is also connected to it, in the switch, there is one black and one white wire, how can I change it so the outlet is always on?

Have you opened up the outlet that is controlled by the switch to see how it's wired? There are two possible methods I can think of. How to undo it depends on how your outlet is wired.

Then you need to check the connections at the light. They should all meet there. Tells us what is there.

You cannot have just two wires at each location. You need more.than t that to make the circuit work.

Since you have found ONLY two wire cables...... that means there is a common splice box
for that circuit. It could be in the attic or the basement.
