GCFI issue

My garage outlets are set up on a GCFI circuit. Currently NONE of he outlets work. The GFCI outlet has power tha has been established when we changed the outlet.. But when you plug in a cord there is no power and all other outlets appear dead. The breakers in the electrical panel are fine. Any ideas?

Loose connection somewhere in the circuit. If none of the receptacles work then most likely the loose connection is between the panel breaker and first receptacle inclusive.

New GFCI breaker can be hard to reset

Breaer may just need to be reset hard. New breakers often come logically tripped. They need to be reset to carry current. Some brands require great force to do that reset. I forget which brands are the wowst.
