Electrical near HVAC

My house is old enough the 6/12 rule was not enforced. One of the areas where I could use another receptacle is a hallway on the other side of an unfinished room so it's easy to extend a circuit to add one. Problem is, it would be on the other side of a stud from an HVAC vent - any problem with them being that close?

No issue with being near or right against HVAC. There are rules if you need to run through a vent or return though.

And as long as it's a bedroom circuit, no issue with adding one to the hallway. You don't want to use a bathroom circuit to extend though.
