LED pigtail wiring length

LED pigtail wiring length
Purchased (4) LED "Cooler" lights for my work area in the basement but the pigtail is less than 6" long so after striping and wire nutting I doubt it's going to be long enough.
Other than splicing in some other wire which will look like krap I'm not sure what else to do!

I just bought similar lights for my shop extension [still in the box] and the cords that came with mine are 18" long. They also included a plug/switch cord that I haven't measured as I doubt I'll be using them. Not sure if you can buy the cords separately.

I finally found some separate ones, they range from $0.99 for 12" to $2.50 for 24" on eBay!
The picture of the cord in the ad is considerably longer so I've sent an email to seller to see what they can do.
These are so short they are useless!

I was able to install them, was able to just get the connector past the covers and make the connection.
These were to fill in the area above the doors, after I replaced all the HO florescent bulbs last month.
At night its actually blinding out there!!!
