Question Bonding CSST - Joining Ground to Existing Wire?

Greetings:

Sorry in advance if I'm posting in the wrong forum.

I am working to bond the CSST in my home. There is an existing 6 gauge. ground wire nearby. Is it possible to run the new bonding wire from my CSST coupling (or the black pipe) to this existing ground wire? If so, what time of connector do I use to join the new ground wire to the existing one?

Thanks!
Mike

A standard ground clamp ( https://www.homedepot.com/p/Blackbur...1-25/202907605 )should work just fine, Just make sure it is large enough to fit around the CSST fitting or the black pipe.

A run a jumper from the existing #6 to the ground clamp and attach the jumper with a split bolt connector like this: https://www.homedepot.com/p/Blackbur...B1-5/100125660 DO NOT cut the existing ground wire! The split bolt will come apart to slip over the existing ground wire.
