Convert 4 way into three way

I am trying to remove one of my switches so that they can install a three-way Alexa switch that will allow me to still control two of the switches that I actually use. So far I’ve been unsuccessful and I’m not sure what I need to do to bypass one of the three way switches. If I can install the 3 way switch into 4 way setup that would be ideal.

A four way switch setup(3 or more switches controlling a light) has two three way switches in the circuit. You should be able to swap one of them out for your new Alexa switch. The only issue might be if the Alexa needs a neutral. Some switch setups do not have a neutral in the switch box.

I'm not aware of an actual "Alexa" switch. There are many that are Alexa controlled or compatible.
Let us know which one you are looking at.

Hardwired heated towel rack

I've been thinking about getting this towel warmer from Amazon: [url]https://smile.amazon.com/Amba-RWH-CB-Radiant-Hardwired-Brushed/dp/B00B4UC3EQ/[/url] I was originally planning on getting one that plugged in to an outlet, but I feel like that would be pretty ugly. Could someone give me an idea of what exactly I would have to do to install the hardwired version? Feel free to also say that I am way out of my depth. My electrical experience is comprised of changing dumb light switches and thermostats with smart ones and installing a ceiling fan (the wiring was already in the walls). Installed Ring doorbell- now have power issues

All- I am very familiar with doing electrical work but I am a little confused about an issue I have. My house is from the 1950's on the east coast (NJ). I installed the doorbell by tapping AC off the front door inside light switch up to the transformer. I attached white to white, black to black, and the green transformer wire to the copper wire (I now realize I should have just capped the green transformer). In our main panel copper and white are on the same bus bar. What is happening is the power on that circuit periodically goes out then back on, breaker does not trip. I'm thinking loose connection or the transformer wiring. The transformer is a Nutone in-box mounted type. Supplies 20v to doorbell. ALso I have done all this to run a Ring Pro doorbell. I'm kind of a little freaked out as this should not happen an don't know the consequences. Also I am away from home (work out of state) and can't address the issue until the weekend. I have a plan, clear out JUNK in cellar enough to get me under front door to run a seperate AC wire off a new breaker I installed several months ago. But thats a pain but I will do it.
