Smart light switch hot&live wiring

Hi there!

I am trying to install TPLink HS200 smart switch in my bathroom lights.

However, my current switch has two backstabbing black wires (Wire A and Wire B), and a third black wire that is chained to the other switches.

There are no 3-way switches involved.

How should I connect the two black wires on HS200 smart switch to Wire A, B and C?

Welcome to the forums.

Wires B and C get combined together and are the line/hot to your smart switch.
Wire A is the load/light to your smart switch.
Your neutral will connect to the bundle of white wires in the back of the box.

One more question, the original switch is self-grounded with no wires connected to the green screw (Pic 1 above).

When I install the HS200 smart switch (https://www.tp-link.com/us/faq-1514.html), should I leave the green ground wire coming out from the switch unconnected, or connect it to the bare copper wire inside the junction box (Picture 2 above, between Wire B and Wire C Exit behind a screw)?

Thanks again!

If you have a place to connect.... then connect it.
