New oven wiring help

So, I'm trying to install a new Samsung NV51K7770 double oven, and I have a 240V system (I think) from two 30amp breakers tied together that lead to a junction box that has a black wire, black w/red stripe wire, and a fully exposed silver wire with no sheathing. The oven has a black, red, white, and green wire. I connected the black to black, the red oven wire to black w/red stripe wire, the white wire and green wire to the exposed silver wire. Oven powered up and then the breaker tripped several minutes into pre-heating. So, what did I do wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

The NV51K7770D requires a 50 amp circuit. You need to call an electrician to run a new circuit.

Your circuit is only good for 30 amps. It is too small for your new oven. You will need a new 4 wire cable to feed the oven.

Correct, but the NV51K7770S only requires a 30 amp circuit. The OP did not provide us with the complete model number. The specs call this out as a 240 volt model yet they also specify a 4 wire circuit which means the voltage required is really 120/240 and the specs are not entirely accurate.

Check out pages 9 and 10 of the installation manual.
