Caulk for electrical cables

Just had ac installed and there are some electrical wires going into the attic in some returns. The gaps are small but I want to seal them anyway. What caulk should I use? I want to do it correctly and safely.

There is a product called Duct Seal made by Ideal, Gardner-Bender, etc. that's UL listed for this application. It's also available in most big box stores.

Will silicone caulk harm electrical cables

Will plain silicone caulk harm electrical cables? How about the stuff they used to seal the duct work.

Penetrations should be sealed according to fire code. So use fire rated silicone, such as: https://www.dap.com/dap-products-ph/...icone-sealant/

Other products may also work, but they would have to be fire rated.
