Help with changing manual swamp cooler to switch to digital thermostat

Hello,
I'm wondering if folks can help me figure out the common wire so I don't electrocute something! I'm changing my manual swamp cooler to switch a digital one (Cooler Control model 7617). The manual switch has 4 wires connected to it, and I know I need to connect the Common/Return wire to it. The problem is I have several unattached wires in the wall, and I don't know which one is the Common/Return (if it's either one of them, in fact). In light of hiring someone to replace the switch, could anyone provide input on what the wires on in the picture with the white connectors?
Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums.

Yes...... you will connect the white wire from the new switch to the splice with the two white wires.
The other wires are self explanatory.
