Eaton CH2125 breaker

Anybody know what the two cardboard strips coming out of this 125 amp breaker are for? It looks like they are protective packaging for shipping, They are right next to the connecting terminals to the board.

Welcome to the forums.

I don't remember seeing any cardboard like that on one of those breakers.
Is it possible to post a picture for us...... How-to-insert-pictures.

My understanding is they are arc insulation tabs. They are on the higher amp breakers. Do not remove them .

I would agree that they are insulation tabs. They are to be left in place on the breaker.
