Converting 200-230vdc to 110vac

Hey!
I'm trying to convert 200-230vdc (battery bank+generator) to 110vac, about 2500watts. Any ideas to do it for less than $500??

I've heard you can use an 220ac-120ac converter and tap into somewhere with the DC 200v, but over not gotten any solid info on that.

Welcome to the forums.

A 200-230vdc generator ? ...... and a battery pack ?
What kind of set up is that ?

That would be an extremely rare type of inverter.

I'm attempting to do as others have done, and pull 110ac power out of the Prius traction battery and generator. Other people are using computer ups systems. I would like to do it using converters and inverters. Alternatively solar controllers may fit the bill.
