Hi TorQ Capacitor

Hi, I have an old motor that I believe the capacitor has gone out of. It won't start, Just hums unless I spin it and then it runs fine. It has a H-Torq CSP 540X 110-125 VAC60 CPS capacitor on It now. I found another Hi-Torq capacitor on Amazon it is a Hi-Torq CSP 194X 194-216 MFD 110-125 VAC 60 CPS 362 9025. Everything seems to be the same except the part number. My question is, Will this work on my 3/4 HP Dayton motor. Thanks.

Welcome to the forums.

It looks like the 540X is a 540 mfd capacitor....... the 194X is a 194 mfd capacitor.
The mfd rating of the caps must match.
