Intermittent power to outlet

Doing some work for a friend who is complaining about a kitchen outlet that works intermittently. I used an outlet tester and it showed the outlet had power and was wired correctly. I pushed the GFCI test button on the tester and the nearby GFCI outlet tripped properly. I reset the GFCI and all outlets on the circuit are working properly EXCEPT the outlet in question. No power to that outlet now. I reset the GFCI multiple times and again all outlets work except the one. Any ideas/suggestions would be most appreciated!!!

Did you look for a loose connection?

I agree loose connection and might be in a receptacle that is still working.
